What makes a good mom?
How do I know…and what authority do I have to answer such a question? I am just a guy. Just a guy. So these thoughts that I share will simply be my observations and reactions to what I have seen and experienced over my 37 years of limited formal education and knowledge on this topic. [...]
5 Questions:
1. What is it about your mother that impacted you the most?
2. Please discuss..."Our greatest fear in life should not be of failure, but of succeeding at things in life that don't really matter." Francis Chan
3. Please read Luke 10:38-42...what stands out to you the most?
4. Are you a Martha or Mary? What are the distractions that most grab your attention?
5. How will you pursue the person of Jesus this week?
The Avenue Church is a missional community in Delray Beach; building redemptive relationships that are being transformed by the gospel of Christ into the household of God.
Ephesians 2:22 says, “In Him you are also being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit.” God changes us into a community where we do life together in the hope of Christ.
These are exciting times for those of us who love God and have a passion for people! The Lord has called us to a tremendous opportunity and work here in Delray Beach, to be a truly missional community. Building redemptive relationships is the way in which we will carry out our call. This is our culture and focus, as we become a loving and engaged participant within the community of Delray Beach.
